If there is a better way to unwind and reconnect with oneself other than taking a bath, we want to hear from you. Until then, we're diving into bathing rituals and all they can do for the body + spirit. Read on for our tips, tricks, and favorite products to bring with us into the curative waters.

1. Bring Some A+ Reading Material

Reading is an excellent way to free our imaginations after a long week, and transport us to other worlds. A good book offers an opportunity for escape and oftentimes a dose of perspective that helps us reconnect with that is truly important, which is an essential first step to re-centering.

2. Invite Nature In

We love engaging our tactile senses by bringing in a natural element. Whether it's a beautiful fern leaf used as a bookmark in the bath, rose petals for sprinkling, or even a smooth rock to use as a natural stress ball or "worry stone," incorporating a natural element into the bathing ritual always helps imbue a sense of calm beauty by connecting us back to something bigger. Gua sha stone anyone?

3. Indulge in Aromatherapy

Smell is one of our strongest senses and is intricately intertwined into how we experience the world. Setting a calming atmosphere on an aromatherapeutic level can transform any experience, and a bath is the perfect moment to hone in on a scent that helps you meditate.

4. Channel Cleopatra + Do a Beauty Routine

A beauty routine is a great way to practice self-care and round out your bathing ritual into a real moment of comfort. A face mask or body soak forces us to take pause and reflect while waiting for the skin benefits to set in —we are partial to our Bath Oil and Honey Mask. These treatments also allow us a moment to prioritize taking care of ourselves, which often falls by the wayside on the day to day.
